1. Comparison of copper wire oil pump motor and aluminum wire motor
There is a great difference in physical properties between copper and aluminum. These differences in physical properties have a great impact on the application of aluminum wire motors. Copper wire motors have obvious advantages over aluminum wire motors. The main advantages of copper wire motors are:
(1) The resistivity of aluminum is 1.6 times that of copper. The temperature rises and the heat is severe. The performance of aluminum motors deteriorates with time and the life is short;
(2) From the perspective of energy saving, the pure copper wire motor is more energy-saving. The resistance of the circuit component is proportional to the size of the heat. The larger the resistance, the greater the heat. The pure copper wire has a lower resistance than the aluminum wire, low heat, smooth current, and no heat. Waste, power saving and energy saving. Of course, aluminum wire motors also have advantages:
(1) There is a difference in the price of copper and aluminum, which makes aluminum wire have a greater advantage in the cost of use. For the same motor, the cost of using aluminum wire is about 30% lower than that of using copper wire. For enterprises, the use of aluminum wire motors also consumes less capital than copper wire motors.
(2) The density of aluminum is only 1/3 of that of copper, so the weight of aluminum wire is much lighter than copper wire, which can reduce logistics costs.
2. Choose aluminum-based copper motors carefully
From the perspective of the development of the motor industry, there are still many problems in replacing copper with aluminum.
(1) The resistivity of aluminum is higher than that of copper, and the loss of the stator of the aluminum wire motor will increase. If the volume of the motor is to be maintained, the efficiency of the motor will decrease and the temperature rise will increase. Long-term operation will seriously damage the interests of consumers and waste energy;
(2) If the "aluminum substitute copper" is to maintain the same efficiency, it is necessary to increase the cross-sectional area of the conductor, enlarge the stator slot shape, and increase the length of the core, which leads to an increase in the amount of silicon steel sheets. It is also possible that many specifications of aluminum wire motors and copper wires The motor base cannot be used universally.
(3) The surface of aluminum is easy to oxidize, there are fatal defects in the process, which directly affects the quality of the oil pump motor, the reliability of the motor operation and the service life of the motor.
